50plus Hellas is a non-profit organization founded in 2005, based in Chalandri, Athens. We are the first national organization concerned with the rights of people over the age of 50. We aim to promote the improvement in the quality of life through actions of empowerment and inclusion, training programs addressed to older people and relevant professionals. Additionally we intervene at political level for a just society for all.
AGE Platform Europe
AGE Platform Europe is a non-profit European network, which brings together about 150 non-profit organisations of or for people aged 50+, directly representing over 40 million older people in the European Union (EU). AGE aims to fight age discrimination and promote the rights of older persons; voice the interests and concerns of older European citizens and foster their involvement at EU level to shape appropriate policy responses; and raise awareness of ageing related issues and of the opportunities and challenges that arise from the ageing of the EU’s population.
Znanie is a NGO, established in 1990, specialising in training and language courses for children and adults, IT courses for children and adults, VET courses for adults, and in seminars on various topics.
TREE specialises in the design, management, use and dissemination of projects funded by the EU and other donors.
TREE believes in the power of communication as a tool to design, produce and promote social innovation initiatives and helps any stakeholder to design social initiatives by developing project ideas and finding institutional and private donors interested in funding them. The agency submits more than 20 proposals a year to various public donors and private investors, and its professionals are always hungry for new ideas and pioneering projects. TREE also implements targeted communication strategies to support and develop socially beneficial projects. Visuals, multimedia content, TV spots and social media campaigns are designed and produced to improve external communication and help projects to bloom.
CONSORZIO COMUNITÀ BRIANZA
CCB (CONSORZIO COMUNITÀ BRIANZA) is a social enterprise made up of 25 cooperatives and 7 associations operating in the province of Monza and Brianza (Lombardy region).
Since 2004, CCB has aimed to strengthen the local community as a political, social and economic entity. Welcoming newly arrived migrants is a core area of CCB's expertise. For example, since 2011 CCB has been implementing projects that provide accommodation and other support services to migrants and asylum seekers in the regions of Monza and Milan. CCB's activities focus on developing a broad network of municipalities, associations and volunteers who work together to integrate people and who can contribute to the development of a welcoming culture for third-country nationals.
