A department of the Jobcenter Pro Arbeit -  Kreis Offenbach - (AöR)

Learn about and promote traditional practices of different regions
Duration: 12.2020 - 11.2022

The Project aims to improve adult education by the promotion and safeguarding of local cultural heritage in order to empower vulnerable groups of society.

Duration: 12.2020 - 11.2022

The project starts with a comparative study, where all partners prepare a short paper on traditional festivals and specific food or activities related to traditional events.

In addition, the partners collect information on local offerings to empower vulnerable groups and overcome any problems in order to improve the availability of heritage for different groups in their local community.

From this study, 'best practices' and recommendations for heritage promotion emerge to empower vulnerable groups.

The Partners will present the results of their study during webinars:  The webinars are open to any organisation or individual interested in the topic, with a maximum of 20 people attending each time to facilitate communication between them.

In a subsequent series of webinars, the partners offer tutorials on their traditional products. The aim is to create exchange, but also mutual knowledge between different countries and a greater awareness of traditional products and practices.
