European Projectmanagement

The European Project Management (EPM) of Pro Arbeit - Kreis Offenbach (AöR) is a young, innovative team with a clear mission: to open up new perspectives for people in Europe by supporting them on their way into the labor market.

Our passion: We develop and implement transnational projects that offer people in Europe new opportunities and possibilities. In doing so, we work closely with partners from different countries, enabling our organization to actively participate at a European level.

Our credo: "Not about us - without us!" When designing our projects, the focus is on people. We focus on co-design and actively involve all participants in the entire process, from conception to implementation.

Our successes: In cooperation with our local, national and international partners, we secure funding for our projects through various European Union funding programs. Implementation is always carried out under strict European guidelines and framework conditions in order to achieve sustainable results.

Our goal: We want to make Europe a place where everyone has the opportunity to develop their talents and lead a fulfilling professional life.

Our networks

We work with various networks on European projects.

Sharing knowledge and ideas with the European Social Network (ESN)

Pro Arbeit - Kreis Offenbach (AöR) focuses on exchange and networking: In order to share knowledge, experience and innovative ideas in the field of social services, Pro Arbeit is a member of the European Social Network (ESN). ESN is the only European network of public authorities in this field and offers a unique platform for exchange between professionals from all over Europe.

Since 1999, ESN has been working closely with the European Commission to promote important projects in the field of social inclusion. Since 2006, ESN has been a strategic partner of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion and has signed several framework partnership agreements in support of the European Commission's social inclusion agenda.

The ESN network comprises more than 125 organizations in 33 European countries. Through regular events, publications and other activities, ESN promotes the exchange of knowledge, practice and strategies between social services across Europe. The aim is to develop best practice guidelines and policy recommendations that improve the quality of social services across Europe.

The topics addressed by ESN and its members cover a broad spectrum and include, among others:

  • Social services for older people

  • Social services for people with disabilities

  • Social services for children and young people

  • Challenges related to the social services workforce
  • Quality assurance in social services

  • Development of evidence-based social services

By actively participating in the ESN network, Pro Arbeit - Kreis Offenbach contributes to the further development of social services in Europe and ensures that people in the Offenbach district have access to high-quality and innovative social services.

M-UP program: Support for migrant entrepreneurs on their path to success

Since 2017, the M-UP program has been supporting migrant entrepreneurs to realize their business ideas and become successful. Founded by Youth Business International (YBI) with the help of the European Union's COSME program, the network brings together key players to share knowledge, develop innovative solutions and accompany migrants at all stages of their entrepreneurial journey.

The M-UP network comprises more than 20 expert organizations from across Europe that specialize in helping migrant entrepreneurs transform their micro-enterprises into thriving small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The program is characterized by a bottom-up approach: M-UP focuses on entrepreneurs at all stages of their business development, from already successful SME owners to aspiring entrepreneurs and talented founders with promising business ideas.

By sharing experiences and best practices as well as co-creating innovative solutions, M-UP identifies the biggest challenges faced by migrant entrepreneurs. The insights gained feed directly into the development of scalable solutions that can be implemented on a transnational level.
In addition, M-UP advocates for policy changes to improve the framework conditions for migrant entrepreneurs. The aim is to break down barriers and support migrants to realize their full entrepreneurial potential. In this way, M-UP contributes to strengthening communities and revitalizing economies in Europe.
