Project description

Created with Sketch.

The overall aim of this project is to develop a digital transformation plan to improve the digital skills and competences of healthcare professionals. The main objective is to equip nurses, caregivers, midwives, etc. with digital skills to run routine practices remotely through telecare.

Goals

Created with Sketch.

Main activities:

1. telecare needs assessment report

One of the first steps of the project is to conduct an in-depth needs assessment of the current practices, trends and needs in the telecare ecosystem of each partner country. The aim is to obtain a clear overview of the existing situation and needs in order to provide a basis for the materials and structures that will be developed as part of the project. To achieve this, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions and online surveys will be conducted with local healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, senior managers, doctors, etc.

2. training materials - toolkit:

In the next phase of the project, learning content, audio and video training materials, manual and curriculum will be developed. These materials will be created to help healthcare professionals, learners and trainees in the healthcare sector to improve their digital skills and apply telecare practices. The toolkit will be designed to be available on an online platform. The toolkit will be tested with a total of 70 healthcare professionals before being made publicly available.

3. digital and virtual tools - database:

The project will ensure that all materials are accessible and available to learners. To achieve this, a collaborative educational web platform will be designed and developed that will include all learning materials developed based on the needs assessment, additional applications, virtual teachers, a database of open educational resources (OER), etc.

4. promotion and dissemination of the materials:

It is crucial that the project materials reach a wide audience in the partner countries and beyond. The consortium partnership is designed to ensure the sustainability of the project and the dissemination of the products to reach the target audiences. To achieve this, the project is committed to developing a plan to promote the project materials, advocate for the needs of healthcare professionals and strengthen the network with partnerships across Europe.
