Green Angels
Validation of a Green And Sustainable Pathway for migrants to start up social and community enterprises
Duration: 01.01.2022 – 30.12.2023
Duration: 01.01.2022 – 30.12.2023
The Green Angels project combines self-employment and sustainability and provides information on how to start an ecologically oriented business.
In the project, people with a migration background learn how they can become self-employed with simple services. Together with them, they will find out which information, tips and tricks are important in order to be able to start up their own business as easily as possible. A platform is also to be developed, which on the one hand is to contain information and materials for self-employment, and on the other hand is also to offer services. It should be a kind of Ebay for people who offer themselves with their talents.
The aspect of sustainability and the protection of the environment also play a decisive role. No matter what services are offered or what knowledge is imparted: The reference to a climate-friendly behavior and the use of resource-saving materials are top priority. For example, a start-up company could protect trees by completely avoiding the use of paper.

Why Green Angels?
The Green Angels project aims to inform people with an international history about both self-employment and sustainability. With this knowledge, the first step into self-employment and generally integration into the labor market should be made possible. Especially for people who come from other countries, the project can inform them about the possibilities they have and what they need to consider when it comes to their self-employment and services in Germany. For example, certain formal requirements must be met in order to start the desired activity.
The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union with agreement number 2021-1-DE02-KA220-ADU-000035384.
