Project description

Created with Sketch.

Mind the Gap is a project that addresses the challenges faced by young people in the transition from school to work. It focuses on the mental and emotional health of young people and promoting a culture of understanding and support.

The international consortium behind Mind the Gap has set itself the goal of providing organizations and professionals with important resources to best support young people on this path.

Specifically, this means:

  • Reducing stigma: Young people's mental and emotional issues are often stigmatized, making it difficult for them to seek help. Mind the Gap aims to combat this stigma and create an environment in which mental health can be discussed openly.

  • Understanding and support: The project team aims to train professionals and organizations to better understand the needs of young people and provide them with the support they need.

  • Resources and materials: Mind the Gap develops and provides resources and materials that can support professionals and young people in overcoming challenges in the school-to-work transition.

  • Promoting resilience and wellbeing: The project team aims to support young people to build their resilience and wellbeing so that they can better manage the challenges of transitioning into the world of work.

Mind the Gap is an important project that can help to improve the living conditions of young people and give them a successful start to their working lives.
