Integration through qualification in the energy sector
Many migrant workers in Europe work in low-paid jobs with few opportunities for advancement. The POWGEN project aims to change this.
With local initiatives in Spain, Portugal, Germany and Italy, POWGEN supports migrants in gaining qualifications in the construction and renewable energy sectors.
The project offers:
- Certified training in the fields of construction and renewable energies
- Individual support in the job search
- Sustainable placement of 150-250 migrants in 15-30 companies
The aim is to improve the labor market opportunities of migrants and thus facilitate their integration into society.
This is how POWGEN can help:
- Higher qualifications and better pay for migrants
- Tackling the shortage of skilled workers in the energy sector
- Promote diversity and inclusion in the world of work
POWGEN is a promising project that can open up new opportunities for migrants in Europe. By gaining qualifications in the energy sector of the future, they can improve their chances on the labor market and thus contribute to positive change in society.
