Project description
Better working conditions for migrants in the primary sector
The PRIMACENTERS project aims to significantly improve the working lives of migrants in sectors such as agriculture, forestry, fishing and mining. To this end, a comprehensive system is to be developed that covers various areas:
- Recruitment: It will become easier to find suitable jobs for migrants.
- Labour market integration: Migrants are to be better integrated into the labour market, for example through language courses or recognition of qualifications.
- Protection of employee rights: The rights of migrants in the workplace should be better protected.
How does this work?
PRIMACENTERS relies on cooperation: various experts and organizations work together to find the best solutions. By sharing knowledge and experience, new ways are to be found to support migrants in the primary sector.
Goals
The ultimate aim is to develop a package of measures that will make it easier for migrants to find work in the primary sector and work under good conditions. This package will then be tested in practice.
In short, PRIMACENTERS wants migrants working in the primary sector to have fair working conditions and feel well integrated.
